Description: During the era of flannel baseball uniforms, the undershirt was usually a two-layer wool blend/cotton fabric with sleeves matching the primary team color. Years ago while visiting a now-defunct sporting goods manufacturer we found one of these original garments. A little digging turned up the Canadian mill which made the shirts for the major uniform manufacturers of the day. We persuaded the mill to make them again – especially for us – and we called the result the “Fungo” shirt.
We’re excited to now offer those same shirts, embellished with embroidered felt patches from some of our favorite teams!

History: People of a certain age who grew up in Kansas City will remember the famous Katz Drugstore chain. ("Katz pays the tax!"). Not only did Katz sell everything from medicine to fishing lures, they sponsored a team in the amateur Ban Johnson Baseball League.
